Gathering together, the four of us bridged the many generations. Having Phillip spending time not only with his Grandmother but also with his Great-Grandmother was just wonderful. He loved getting to see her again, and wishes he could do so more often.

The cake had marzipan and custard filling. It was delicious. However, I never got a rose!

Mutti really seemed happy to be with all of her family members again. She doesn't see them enough, unfortunately.

Each table was beautifully set. Rosemarie, Mutti, Mazhar, Mom, Phillip, Werner and Margritli shared this table with me.

Cousin Bea, and Analie Hazenbeuler seemed quite content, joining in lively discussions with their table-mates.

More family of Mutti's: Paula (blocked), Cecile, Mina, & Isabelle really enjoyed themselves.

Damian sat down long enough to eat some food, but later entertained the entire group. See below. Heini Degen cares for Mutti's yard).

Nina, Levin, and Daniel shared this table with friends and family. Daniel organized this occasion beautifully, and it was a great success.

Ella and Christian are so sweet, and always seem so happy. Well, except for this one picture, but they were eating.

Emmali & Jean-Paul Vonach came from the Alsace, France, to attend. Emily worked at Bauglas for years, and at this luncheon, she sang a beautiful song called "Un petit verre de vin" in French to us. I don't recall the lyrics, but it did make me thirsty.

Hanni is one of Mutti's sisters, came from Zurich. Erich and Helly Degen attended as well.

Even the photographer got caught on film. Ella was kind enough to give me break, and took this nice shot. Cheers!

Mazhar, Mom and Phillip enjoyed the various courses presented. Everything was delicious. Let's see, there was salmon, salad, brot! (delicious bread), grilled lamb, various vegetables, and desert. Add to that a choice of red or white wine, and you can see we were well-cared for. And let's not forget coffee to conclude with.

Grandma and Grandson, sharing time together. Living so far apart in America, any occasion to get together is cherished.

Mutti took the time to visit with her guests.

She visited with Philip and Inken; Heini and Maerteli, and Juerg (Rosemarie's brother) and Moni (blocked by the others).

Uncle Ruedi and his girlfriend travel a lot, but on this day, he attended this family function.

Werner, Margritli, and Rosemarie later visited others at the nearby tables, since there were 36 in attendance.

Damian surprised us all with a trumpet solo. He did a wonderful job! I didn't even know he was practicing, but he obviously has.
