#1) Fan-Tastic - Many of the fans from this board had the opportunity to ‘see’ their labor of love appear on last week’s episode “Forgive Us Our Trespasses.” The prop department included “the Wreath,” a project that reflects many of the items shown during Season I. What a lovely “thank you” on the part of Bedford Falls Productions.
#2) Horse Manure! - Trish revived her nagging TBM theory by running a Board Survey. (Msg #68606 tabulates the results.) While apparently 74.5% felt Rick is not over Lily’s roll in the hay with Jake, Tooncer stated “It won’t he brought up again.” Condolence letters have been sent out, but were they premature? Rick’s pillow talk recently left room for debate. Lily did asked for info, but Rick deflected with “Come to bed.”
#3) Symbolically Speaking - A few items this week carried special meaning with viewers: the Egg Coddler, Lily’s “attic”, Ice Damage, Lily’s key under the matt, and even Rick’s foot cream (trying to preserve his footing with his world crumbling away {Jessie’s anorexia; Atlantor battles} Okay, I may be stretching on this one.
#4) Crossed Signals - Who is this??
#5) Future Member of Gossipers Anonymous - Judy, who talks to Karen about Lily’s work problems, even her upcoming marriage to Rick. (Faux Pas #1) Moments later, she tells Jake that Lily is redoing the attic for a workspace for Rick. (Faux Pas #2) This is way too much information that she is sharing about others, with the wrong people!!!
#6) There Is More Happiness In Giving - Lily generously offers baby clothes to Tiffany, and later decides to give them to a tearful Judy, who feels glee at the prospect of having children sooner, perhaps.
#7) Right Speech, Wrong Guy - Lily stated: “When are you going to deal with it? When are you going to deal with the fact that when it comes to women, you are out of control!?!”
#8) Contrition - Jake realized, after contending with Lily earlier, that his prior actions have truly led to ‘ice damage’ that destroyed their house (their marriage), and tried to make amends over the phone with Lily. He fumbled with words, and finally stated he would pay for damages, which Lily understood to have a deeper double meaning.
#9) Forgiveness Granted - I) Lily forgives Tiffanv, Graham, and even Jake for past transgressions. Will seemingly forgave Judy for her painful parting with him.
#10) Lowering the Boom — When Will unleashed his feelings on Judy. Some of his more poignant thoughts: how just because he’s a man, he shouldn’t have feelings; how she fears closeness; how she thinks she’s mature by walking out on him, but how truly blind she is about everything. How he even feared taking this job (at Lily’s) because he knew he’d run into her there. How he didn’t owe her an explanation.
#11) Silly Love Songs - Lily and Rick dance and sing the beginning sequence of “It had To Be You”. It may not be drama, hut love makes us do silly things occasionally. It was a scene I’m still smiling about.
#12) Sleuth of the Week - Trish was able to ascertain from the promo last week that the Editing Crew at BFP was more than a little creative. She almost lost that title due to a minor oversight, but I’m giving it to her anyway.
#13) That Girl! - JudyB reveals Jennica being the Shampoo Orgasm girl. VBG!
#14) New Feature Of The Week - We now have a Time-Line Report, which Sue will be sharing with us after each episode, to help us establish when each scene occurs in an orderly way. Thank you!
#15) Debate Of The Week - Why is Lily judged more harshly than Judy?
#16) Recurring Posts - Will and Judy wishers, TBM, people wanting more onscreen romance, and discussions about important topics being handled to completion.
